Effect of Nanosilica Incorporation on Flexural Strength, Shear Bond Strength, and Color of Veneering Porcelain after Thermocycling

AIM: The focus of this research was to see how silica nanoparticles changed veneering porcelain over a zirconia core affected flexure strength, shear bond and color. METHODS: A total number 30 veneer samples were constructed classified according modification into two groups: Group 1 (control group) without any (n = 15) 2 (modified modified by 15). Silica added the powder at rate 5% weight. manually crushed for about 10 min using pestle mortar then mixed combined with moldings liquid make paste. After thermal cycling, each group examined flexural color measurement 5). Universal testing equipment used determine strength. shift measured spectrophotometer. RESULTS: Flexural strength levels in (280.9 ± 29.85 Mpa) substantially higher than control (431.78 22.73 Mpa). Shear values (34.31 5.6) significantly (26.97 4.03). Color change within clinical acceptable range (1.71 0.32). CONCLUSIONS: addition improved as well as, limits.
